The African Experience YTT is an opportunity to explore the beauty of Cape Town and the energy of Africa while immersing yourself in the transformation of Yoga!
The course itself focuses on Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Applied Yogic Philosophy for transformation… and includes asanas, teaching skills, sequencing, philosophy, the business of Yoga, fascia, pranayama, Ayurveda, reflexology, Yoga for Grief Recovery, Seva… and more.
This YTT is registered with the Yoga Alliance International and falls under the umbrella of Conscious Movement Education. Tuition includes e-manuals, exam fees, and lectures.

Pilates Reformer
Teacher Training

This course follows on from the mat repertoire and will take participants along the path of becoming a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher. Students will learn foundation, basic, and intermediate level repertoire on the Pilates Reformer. Teaching skills, class design, modifications and progressions, as well as client assessments will be addressed. Course assessments include homework assignments, practical evaluations, teaching assessments, in-lecture work, and case studies. Take yourself, your teaching, and your clients to their next level of Pilates! Tuition includes e-manuals, exam fees (first time), free classes during the course, and studio access for practice hours.

Systems of the Body

Basic Pilates Teacher Training

This course will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the Pilates Method. Students will learn the Principles and Fundamentals of Pilates, Foundation and Basic Pilates repertoire and use applied anatomy in these respects. Client screening, posture analysis and movement assessments, class design, and teaching skills are taught via assignments and case studies. Other aspects of the course include business development and nutrition assignments. This well-rounded course is internationally portable and equips the learner to become a highly regarded Pilates mat instructor.
